Changes to the date, time, or itinerary are subject to the fare type chosen. 

Your options are listed below:

AVE and Larga Distancia (long distance high-speed) / Avant (mid-distance high-speed) / Media Distancia (mid-distance) trains:

• Premium: Unlimited free changes.
• Elige Estandar/Confort: These tickets can be changed once for free before departure, the rest subject to a fee of €10.
• Basico (Basic Fare): This is the cheapest fare which unfortunately cannot be changed.
• Adult one way: For the same day, free changes allowed. For another day subject to a fee of 10%.
• Round trip: These tickets can be changed up to 3 times without fees up to 30 minutes before departure, but any price difference will need to be paid. Both journeys can be changed separately.

AVLO (high-speed) trains:

• Basico (Basic Fare): Changes are not allowed.
